Pausing the global economy for months looks a lot like financial suicide, which will ultimately kill a lot more people than any pandemic.

At least Trump seems to get that. In a tweet on 22 March, he wrote:

We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself. At the end of the 15 day period, we will make a decision as to which way we want to go!
